Dreamweaver has some powerful features which will appeal to anyone who has struggled to write pages which are sound in content and good to look at. For instance, it checks your coding (without running through an external validator) and it has a 'clean-up' facility which will remove superfluous code.

It also has the facility to produce multiple pages using a templates OK - any word-processor can do the same thing. But here's the difference. Dreamweaver allows you to make changes to all the pages - just by making one change to the template. All this is explained very clearly. This is a powerful updating facility.

It deals very simply with inputting text, dealing with images, and adding forms, tables, and lists, as well as creating frames. One of the more powerful features of Dreamweaver is that when your pages are ready, it will check all your links and even create a site map. So this manual really does cover everything you will need, from the concept to the launch of your own site.
